Before AIHM, I wasn’t a leader.

I was more of a follower. I hadn’t discovered my real strengths. But when I joined, my passion for the hospitality industry grew, and that’s when my leadership mindset began to form. I’m very proud of what I’ve achieved at AIHM. AIHM builds leaders for the real world.

What is the BBA in Global Hospitality Management at AIHM?

The BBA in Global Hospitality Management is a 3.5-year international business degree taught by AIHM in academic association with Les Roches, one of the world’s top hospitality schools.

It blends business fundamentals with hospitality management, leadership, and hands-on learning—ideal for students who want to build global careers in service industries, management, or entrepreneurship.

The BBA is a seven-semester programme (3.5 years) with two industry internships.

Students begin with a semester of practical arts and progress through management, leadership, and strategic modules designed by Les Roches.

This structure ensures balanced professional and academic growth.

Applicants need a high school diploma or equivalent, be at least 17.5 years old, and demonstrate English proficiency—TOEFL 525/70, IELTS 5.5, or Cambridge B2 First.

You’ll begin with Practical Arts—front office, F&B, rooms, and guest relations—before advancing to management courses in marketing, finance, sustainability, and leadership.

Each stage includes teamwork and real-world problem-solving projects.

You will also complete two internships at leading hospitality companies.

Graduates launch careers in hotels, resorts, events, airlines, luxury retail, wellness, real estate, and tech.

Many join management trainee programmes, including within Minor Hotels and elite global brands such as Mandarin Oriental.

A hospitality degree also prepares you for entrepreneurship and leadership in any service-driven field.

Yes. The BBA provides the academic foundation and professional experience needed to progress toward General Manager (GM) and other senior leadership roles.

Graduates typically begin in departmental management or management-trainee programmes, then advance through Rooms Division, F&B, or Operations before reaching GM level.

With experience and continued learning, this degree can fast-track your path to hotel leadership.

All BBA students complete two six-month internships at top hospitality organisations in Thailand or abroad.

Placements range from luxury hotels in Bangkok to properties in major international destinations such as Dubai and the Maldives.

AIHM helps students match internships with career goals and provides ongoing academic support during each placement.

AIHM students have interned at Anantara, Avani, Capella, Four Seasons, Hilton, Hyatt, Kempinski, Mandarin Oriental, Marriott, Rosewood, Shangri-La, St Regis, Peninsula, Six Senses, and other global brands.

Many students complete their first internship in Bangkok and their second in resort destinations such as Phuket, Koh Samui, Koh Yao Noi, or the Golden Triangle—or in other global destinations such as the Maldives, Dubai, Abu Dhabi, France, Hong Kong, or New Zealand.

The first internship focuses on operations, while the second immerses students in management areas such as Sales & Marketing, Public Relations, Human Resources, and Finance.

Many internships are paid, though stipends vary by country and employer.

Each internship is part of your academic record—graded through a reflective learning process and employer evaluation.

You’ll gain credit, work experience, and a professional network before you even graduate.

All are undergraduate business degrees, but they differ in emphasis.

A BBA focuses on management, leadership, and applied business skills.

A BA leans more toward theory and liberal arts; a BSc toward analytical and quantitative methods; and a BCom toward commerce and accounting.

AIHM’s BBA in Global Hospitality Management blends business administration with experiential learning and global industry training.

AIHM offers a close-knit, multicultural campus in the city centre, surrounded by safe, affordable housing and endless cultural opportunities.

Students join clubs, workshops, and networking events while building lifelong friendships.

Bangkok’s energy and global hospitality scene make it an exciting place to study and grow.
