AIHM Opens Registration for the Business Plan Competition 2026

The Asian Institute of Hospitality Management (AIHM) is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the AIHM Business Plan Competition 2026, an annual student competition designed for high school students in Year 10–12 who are interested in hospitality, business, entrepreneurship and innovation.

The competition provides students with a valuable opportunity to transform classroom learning into real-world experience. Participants will work in teams to develop a business concept, refine their ideas through structured guidance, and present their work to industry professionals in a competitive yet supportive environment.

Through the Business Plan Competition, students strengthen essential future-ready skills including creativity, critical thinking, teamwork, communication and confident pitching. Finalist teams will present their concepts to a panel of industry experts at AIHM’s Bangkok campus, gaining exposure to professional standards and industry expectations.

Key Dates for the Competition

  • Business Plan Masterclass: 31 January 2026

  • Elevator Pitch Submission Deadline: 14 February 2026

  • Shortlist Announcement: 20 February 2026

  • Final Round: 28 February 2026

Outstanding teams will be recognised with cash prizes of up to THB 40,000, along with certificates and meaningful competition experience that can support future academic and career pathways.
