Bachelor of Business Administration in Global Hospitality Management
Completed Application Form
Applicants must submit the online application form together with all required supporting documents.
Academic Requirements
Applicants must hold a senior high school diploma or equivalent that meets international higher education standards.
Documents are accepted in English. If issued in another language, an official English translation is required.
AIHM welcomes additional academic credentials such as IB, AP courses, A-Levels, or standardised test scores, although these are not mandatory.
Minimum Age
17.5 years old by the programme start date for the BBA in Global Hospitality Management
Motivation Statement / Study Plan
A 300-word personal statement explaining your motivation to study at AIHM, your career goals in hospitality or business, and the strengths and experiences that prepare you for success.
Admission Assessment
Applicants may be invited for an interview or written assessment.
Prior exposure to the hospitality or service industry — through part-time jobs, internships, volunteering, or shadowing — is encouraged but not required.
English Language Requirements
Non-native English speakers, or students who haven’t spent the last three years in full-time English education, will need to submit their English-language exam scores.
TOEFL : 525/70 or above
IELTS : 5.5 average
IELTS has four subcomponents (Writing, Reading, Speaking, Listening). Each subcomponent can be 0.5 less than the required average score, but not lower.
Cambridge FCE/CAE : ฺB2 First or above
Certificate in International Hotel Administration (CIHA)

Academic Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent. (Candidates who do not meet the academic requirements may be considered based on their prior experience in the hospitality industry.)
Documents are accepted in English. If issued in another language, an official English translation is required.
Professional Experience
While not mandatory, hospitality or customer service experience is beneficial and may strengthen an application.
This may include internships, part-time roles, full-time positions, or family business experience.
Minimum Age
17.5 years old by the programme start date for the BBA in Global Hospitality Management

Postgraduate Diploma in International Hospitality Management

Academic Requirements
Applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree (highly recommended) from an accredited institution.
All documents must be in English, or accompanied by an official English translation.
Professional Experience
To ensure readiness for postgraduate study, applicants must meet one of the following:
With a bachelor’s degree: Minimum 2 years of professional experience
Without a degree: Minimum 5 years of relevant work experience
Experience in hospitality, tourism, customer service, business, or related sectors is preferred, but other professional backgrounds will also be considered.
Minimum Age
Applicants must be 21 years old by the programme start date.

If English is not your first language, or if you have not spent the last two years studying in an institution where English is the primary language of instruction, please enclose a copy of one of the following:
- IELTS: overall 6.0 and min. 5.5 in every sub-component*
- TOEFL: Internet-based 80 or paper-based 550
- First Cambridge Exam: Grade A
- Cambridge Advanced Exam: Grade C
- Duolingo 115 with no component under 105
*Only tests taken/issued in an official IELTS testing center are accepted.
Direct entry (credit transfer) to Bachelor Programme
Candidates can apply for direct entry into the AIHM bachelor’s programme. Your precise entry point will be determined by a credit mapping process undertaken by the institution’s academic management. Please contact us for further guidance.
