Before AIHM, I wasn’t a leader.
I was more of a follower. I hadn’t discovered my real strengths. But when I joined, my passion for the hospitality industry grew, and that’s when my leadership mindset began to form. I’m very proud of what I’ve achieved at AIHM. AIHM builds leaders for the real world.

FAQs
What is the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY)?
The International Foundation Year (IFY) is a one-year academic preparation programme that helps students progress from high school to university.
It builds English proficiency, academic skills, and subject knowledge needed to succeed in an international degree.
Delivered at AIHM College, an official NCUK Study Centre, it guarantees progression to over 60 partner universities across the UK, Australia, New Zealand, the USA, and Canada.
Who should apply for the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY)?
The IFY is ideal for students who have finished high school and want to start their international university journey with strong academic and English preparation.
It’s also an excellent choice for families who want their children to begin in a supportive, English-speaking environment in Bangkok before studying abroad.
Students who complete the IFY can progress directly to the first year of a degree at an NCUK university.
What is the NCUK International Year One (IYOne)?
The International Year One (IYOne) is a university-level qualification equivalent to the first year of a UK Bachelor’s degree.
Students complete the IYOne at AIHM College in Bangkok and then transfer directly into Year 2 at one of more than 60 NCUK partner universities worldwide.
It’s the perfect option for students who want to begin their global degree close to home with academic and personal support, before continuing their studies abroad.
Who should apply for the NCUK International Year One (IYOne)?
The IYOne is ideal for:
· Students who have successfully completed the NCUK International Foundation Year (IFY) or an equivalent qualification.
· High school graduates or current university students who want to transfer into an international degree pathway.
· Parents seeking a cost-effective, academically rigorous start to university education for their children.
What is the NCUK Master’s Preparation (MP) programme?
The Master’s Preparation (MP) is a short academic and English preparation course for students who plan to study for a Master’s degree abroad.

Who can apply for the NCUK Master’s Preparation (MP)?
Applicants should hold a Bachelor’s degree or be in the final year of undergraduate study.
